Karana Kelpie Stud is established in the prime Central Western Districts of New South Wales,

 Australia.

On the Eugowra to Canowindra Road, 11 kilometres from Eugowra, turn right into Nanami Lane

 and travel approximately 2 kilometres to "Karana" on the right.

These kennels have self filling water bowls at head height to ensure that the dogs always have

clean fresh water.

We have a large day run off the front of the main Kennels,this allows the dogs to be out

running free during the day when they are not at work.They are all out at the one time, this lets

them run & play & socialize with one another getting their exercise & keeping fit ready for work

when they are needed.This also stops the dogs from getting bored & keeps their minds active.

We have found this BIG run a great advantage.

Transport vehicle for Karana Dogs

Both our kennels & our ute dogbox are insulated to keep them cool in the summer & warmer in

the winter .

It is important to look after your working dog to get the best results from him,after a hard days

work all a good dog asks for is a comfortable kennel to keep him cool in the hot weather &

warm & dry on those cold winter nights.And a good nourishing meal at the end of the day.

Good feeding is very important to replace the energy used during the day.

Working dogs need a diet containing more energy to keep them going longer.
